Michelle Jacobs
Michelle has been reporting traffic conditions in Jacksonville since 1998 when she moved here from Dallas, TX. In addition to being seasoned airborne traffic reporter from Dallas/Ft. Worth, Michelle is also a degreed Meteorologist.
Michelle has been on TV in Jacksonville since 2003, most recently with CBS/FOX. Now back home at First Coast News, Michelle will continue to cover traffic incidents around town, as well as the ever-changing Florida/Georgia weather. Her involvement in the community is widespread - from volunteering at her daughters' school to working with the 26.2 with Donna The National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer. Michelle was a celebrity dancer in our Jacksonville's Dancing with the Stars with professional, Larry Audije, that benefitted the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in November of 2009.
Michelle is a graduate of Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. Her Meteorology certification is from Mississippi State University. She enjoys exercising, travelling, hanging out at the beach with her kids and watching the weather.
