Randy Goodwin
In 1994, he started his own company Presentation Resource, Inc. with two $5,000.00 bank loans. 14 years later, now known as PRI Productions, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most reputable show production companies in the southeast United States. Mr. Goodwin has purchased multiple companies since he started his own company. He also is the president and owner of Southeastern Decorators that specializes in trade shows services and tents.
In 2005, he stopped the day-to-day operations for over a month to help berth “Jacksonville Cares Hurricane Katrina Relief”. The staff of his company aided in filling over 50 semi trailers and trucks full of food, water and supplies to transport and deliver directly to the hands of victims on the Gulf Coast. This was one of his proudest moments watching his staff and the community that he lives in go to so much effort to help those who were in need.
Randy is a past recipient of Jacksonville’s Small Business Leader of the Year. Mr. Goodwin is a proud alumni of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2001. In 2004, Randy became the proud recipient of the “Best Achievement in Logistics Award” given by Special Events Magazine. This is an international award given annually at the Gala held in Las Vegas. He is presently serving on the Board of Director for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business Chair. He is also a Trustee and a Cornerstone Advisory Member of the Jacksonville Chamber.
He presently serves on the Board of Directors of Gateway Community Services. Gateway is an organization taking action against addiction through a variety of programs and services. He also presently serves on Mayors Advisory Board for Film and Television and also a long time member of the Gator Bowl Committee. He also served on the 2007 United Way of Northeast Florida Cabinet as the Small Business Chair and was a past Board Member of Volunteer Jacksonville.
Randy also serves on the University of North Florida Thomas G. Carpenter Library Dean’s Leadership Council.
Just recently Randy was asked to be a celebrity chef for the Salvation Army’s Celebrity Chef Annual Fund Raiser benefiting scholarships, homework assistance programs at the Adult Rehabilitation Center.
