Scott Norton

Scott

Heretofore not known for his fancy footwork, Scott Norton did the funky chicken at Jacksonville University, waltzing away in 1989 with a degree in finance. He started Master Screens with his father in the same year and has been sole owner since 2002. He has always strived to make a positive impact on the community. He has served on the Alumni Board of JU, coached sports with his two children and served as chairman of the Trustees at Lakewood United Methodist Church. His most rewarding time in public service is spent with the Cub Scouts, including the last four years as Cub Master.

A distance runner and former member of the JU Cross Country team, Scott loves challenges and being outdoors, whether it’s biking 100 miles in a day or backpacking for a week in Maine. His goal (other than to stop flailing during the Tango) is to hike part of every mountain range in the voteUnited States before he is too old, like maybe 89 or 90. He recently added dancing to his list of challenges, and this might prove to be his most difficult yet. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 20 years, and they have two sons, 13 and 11.
