Private Lessons - $90
"Private" indicates one teacher to a member. It does not refer to a private room. Lessons are 60 minutes in length which includes transition between lessons. All lessons with the exception of exhibition lessons are taught to the music in the main ballroom. Dancing is a physical activity as well as a great contact sport. Every minute you can spend moving your body to music, whether alone or with a partner, will work wonders for your progress. And don’t be self-conscious, everyone is so concerned with themselves, they never notice anyone else.
Group Classes - $10
An important part of the learning process because the member learns to dance with many different partners as well as learning new patterns that they can perfect on their private lessons. Classes are held nightly and include members in various stages of learning. The dance material taught in classes is either an addendum to that taught in private lessons or special class curriculums that involve such things as party dances (polka, country western, etc.) and special dance techniques. The class schedule is printed monthly on our calendar of events. Special care is taken to ensure that the new member fits into the classes he attends. Actually, other members in the class take a lot of pleasure in helping newcomers. In doing so, they learn a great deal themselves.
Practice Party Sessions - $10
Also an important part of learning to dance, since they offer the members: "Battlefield Conditions", including a variety of dance partners. The club practice parties are held weekly for the entire membership. Attendance is lively and the 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours of the party goes by very quickly. Refreshments are served and the staff arranges a show of various dance exhibitions by either staff, a combination of staff and member or member only. Most of all, the parties are fun and everyone gets into the socializing act. They’re a great place to meet people. Some parties are themed dress-up parties, some are casual, but in all cases our members are always in good taste. Throughout the years, the parties continue to be our most popular activity.
