A Social Affair Dance Studio can empower you and your fiancé with the confidence, experience and knowledge you need to enjoy the romance of your first dance as a married couple! Avoid the unnecessary awkwardness most couples feel doing the “high school sway” for three long minutes. Let us show you just how much fun and easy dancing together can be!

All our instructors have many years experience in teaching private Ballroom Dance lessons to singles, couples (married or not) and groups. Our wedding couples say that taking Ballroom dance lessons with us made their first dance one of the highlights of their wedding. Many are still receiving compliments months later. We love helping couples start off on the right foot!

Your instructor will help you look and feel great for this special event — even if you have never danced before. We have taught many wedding couples their first dance with great success and fun. We create a custom-choreographed first dance routine in which you will learn to move around the dance floor — it will have an introduction, a body and an artistically-posed ending. Detailed attention will be given to walking on and off of the floor as well.

Just $29 per person, which includes:

three (3) 30-minute private lessons

one (1) complimentary group class lesson and

one (1) practice party session
During your first lesson/consultation, please bring in the song you want to dance to or we can help you pick a song, if you haven’t already chosen one. We’ll recommend a dance to suit your song and during your introductory lessons, we will design a special program for you. See a description of our packages here

A combination of private and group lessons is the best way to prepare for your special day. The more dance lessons you take – the more confident you will become. We also offer lessons for father/daughter and mother/son dances. And you can also schedule a private group lesson for your family and friends.

Now & Forever
This is for the couple that wants to have a lasting memory of their special day. To be able to dance your first dance with that ‘wow-factor’ and to dance throughout the entire reception, to whatever song your DJ or band plays.

You will be introduced to several popular social dances – fast and slow – something to fit all kinds of music. This program will take you beyond just choreography for your first dance – you will be well on your way to having the confidence to dance the night away not only at your reception, but on your honeymoon, and hopefully for years to come.
